MBVB Co-op Advertising Program

CT mag ad graphicThe MBVB Co-op Advertising Program allows you to buy in to both print and digital advertising opportunities in New England publications at a fraction of the regular rate. These ads are subsidized by the Visitors Bureau, plus costs are further reduced by cost-sharing with other regional organizations that will be highlighted in the same ad. Your business can be featured in ads that would normally run $1,200 to $10,000 each for as little as $100.

Publications for this program include Yankee magazine, Rhode Island Monthly, Connecticut magazine, New Hampshire magazine, Down East, Philadelphia magazine, Hearst newspapers, and email articles to the US News subscriber database.

Options include display advertising, which are either full page or 2/3 page full color print ads (example on the right), or sponsored content articles. Sponsored content is essentially articles we pay for (and therefore can control the message on). These articles are disseminated a variety of ways, including on a publication’s website (where they generally live for 1 month and the publication promotes them), in the publication’s digital version of their magazine, or as a dedicated email article sent to the publication’s opted-in email list. An example of these articles can be found here and here.

Our Co-op Advertising Media Kit lists each of the available inserts and publications, along with the publications’ statistics such as number of subscribers, digital reach, etc. You may pick and choose any or all insertions to be part of. Once you have let us know which issues you wish to be part of, we’ll take it from there! The only thing you need to do is provide a sentence or two on what you would like to have us highlight, and a few high resolution (1 MB+) photos we can use in promoting you.
