Fantastic Framingham

2 days / 1 night

DAY 1:

  • Start your fantastic adventure at the stylish Aloft Framingham which offers a pool table, lobby games, saltwater pool and luxury bedding. Enjoy the cool atmosphere of their onsite bar, WXYZ.
  • Take in the rich history of Framingham at the Framingham History Center. Their newest exhibition, “Then and Now” highlights the town’s remarkable 1900 bicentennial celebration. Explore artifacts that haven’t been seen for more than a century — from souvenir medals and commemorative plates to program booklets, photographs, and military equipment — all showcasing how the community honored its milestone. Step into the Edgell Memorial Library and experience the pride, pageantry, and spirit that have shaped Framingham across generations.
  • Spend a relaxing evening at Margaritas Mexican Restaurant, where flavor meets fun. Savor a trio of tacos paired with a refreshing margarita from their extensive drink list.  This November, join in the vibrant Day of the Dead celebrations and take advantage of delicious weekday specials. It’s the perfect spot to unwind with great food, festive drinks, and a lively atmosphere.

DAY 2:

  • After a leisurely morning enjoying the amenities at the Aloft, explore current exhibitions at the Danforth Art Museum like Sonya Tanae Fort: I See You and Nayana LaFond: Portraits in Red, each offering powerful visual storytelling and thought-provoking perspectives. Celebrating 50 years of collecting, The Danforth is also home to the largest collection of work by 20th century sculptor Meta Vaux Warrick Fuller.
  • Look around the city for their public art display “Many Cultures, One Heart” which highlights the artistic and ethnic diversity of Framingham through a series of heart sculptures painted by local artists and placed around the Cultural District and the City of Framingham. Be sure to check out the videos that each artist created that discusses their heart.
  • Soak up the warm, welcoming vibes of Jack’s Abby Beer Hall, where the lively energy and scent of wood-fired pizza create the perfect backdrop for a laid-back afternoon and evening. Settle in with a pint of their seasonal Extra Layer” Winter Fest Lager, a Munich style dark lager boasting rich caramel and toffee notes.
