DAY 1:

  • Kick off your grand adventure taking the grandbabies to the Discovery Museum where curiosity, creativity and play come together.  Explore the properties of air, water, sound, math, and light through hands-on experiences.  With hands-on, low-tech, open-ended, and interactive exhibits, the Discovery Museum invites grandparents and grandchildren alike to play, explore, experiment, and make memories along the way! (Reminder: Museum will be closed September 7 – 14 for maintenance)
  • Have some comfy, cozy nights at the Hampton Inn in Marlborough where the grands can enjoy the indoor salt water pool and the complimentary hot breakfast buffet.

DAY 2:

  • Drop into Bloom & Grow Creative for a special morning to make, play and create memories together. From bracelets and patches, to make your own slime to the rotating monthly crafts, you’ll create core memories here!
  • Get hands-on or create a keepsake together at Elsie Kaye Glassworks. Take a flamethrowing glass class or learn to make stamped jewelry with the grands.

DAY 3:

  • Head over to Natick Mall with the grand crew for a day of play and adventure! Bring the littlest explorers to Jam Time for some drop-in play, where they can climb, bounce, and let their imaginations run wild. Traveling with older grands? Keep the fun going with a game of pickleball at Bosse or a round of high-tech indoor mini golf at Puttshack. Whatever their age, there’s plenty of fun for everyone!
  • Spend the afternoon at Lookout Farm where Nana and Papa (or Mimi and Poppy) can enjoy a cold cider while the kids play at the tractor play area.
  • Before your epic grands weekend ends, stop by for a sweet treat such as a cupcake or sugar cookie at Harvard Sweet Boutique!
