A hearty breakfast buffet will be served throughout the event, making it the perfect way to kick off a full day of St. Patrick’s festivities with family and friends.
  • Stay in the heart of Marlborough at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Boston Marlborough. Close to so many great attractions and offering comfortable guest rooms plus a fitness center, it’s the perfect home base for your St. Patrick’s celebration.
  • Then get ready to Get Shamrocked at Tackle Box Brewing Company. Whiskey Cherrybomb is back and rocking the stage from 8–11 PM for an early St. Patrick’s Day celebration packed with live music, cold brews, and all the green you can handle. Great vibes, tasty pints, and killer tunes await.

No cover. Wear green. Drink happy.

DAY 2:

  • Kick off your Saturday with brunch at Welly’s Restaurant. Indulge in the Dulce de Leche Pancakes — fluffy stacks filled with creamy dulce de leche and topped with pecans and fresh banana — or go for the Demi Demi, a crave-worthy combo featuring half a fruit-topped waffle with milk chocolate alongside half an Eggs Benedict complete with spinach, Canadian bacon, hollandaise, and crispy home fries. Dig in and fuel up — a full day of festivities awaits.
  • Next, head to Veterans Memorial Stadium for the New England Free Jacks St. Patrick’s Day Festival. The season starts here with a full-scale celebration built on rugby, stout, and proper New England energy. Catch the 6 Nations Watch Party (Ireland vs. Scotland), enjoy Monumental 7’s from 8AM–2PM, experience live music from the Mud Ducks, and explore the Stout Tasting Festival featuring Guinness and local breweries. With interactive fan activations, partner experiences across the grounds, exclusive festival merch, Open Practice (2–3PM), and a Player Meet & Greet, it’s wall-to-wall rugby excitement from first whistle to last.
  • After the festival, head back toward MetroWest for dinner at Owen O’Leary’s Restaurant & Brew Pub. Known for great food and delicious in-house brewed beers, it’s the perfect spot to recap the day’s highlights over hearty fare and a fresh pint.

DAY 3:

  • Celebrate Sunday with the Pre St. Paddy’s Day Luncheon at historic Longfellow’s Wayside Inn. Featuring a three-course meal filled with traditional Irish favorites and an Irish Step Dance performance, it’s a festive way to wrap up the weekend.
  • Take a scenic drive to visit the Milford Irish Round Tower, an unexpected and eye-catching sight in the United States. Towering over an otherwise unassuming cemetery, this mystical structure was built in the late 1800s by Father Patrick Cuddihy as a memorial to the many Irish immigrants who had settled in Milford. Inspired by the medieval stone watchtowers he admired as a young man in Ireland, Father Cuddihy hoped Irish-Americans from across the country would one day make a pilgrimage to see his creation. Constructed from pink granite, the tall, slender tower features windows near the top that evoke the fairy-tale charm of Rapunzel’s watchtower. On one side, a small pond adds to the serene atmosphere, while on the other, a mysterious cave partially obscured by a boulder hints at hidden secrets. Surrounded by trees, the area offers a peaceful and contemplative spot to explore, making it likely one of the only towers of its kind in North America.

  • Before heading home, enjoy one last authentic Irish meal at Arigna Irish Pub & Coal Fire Kitchen — because no St. Patrick’s weekend is complete without a proper plate of corned beef and cabbage.

  • Looking to extend the celebration? Plan a return trip March 21–22 for the Celtic Celebration at Old Sturbridge Village, featuring fiddle tunes, bagpipes, Irish poetry, step dancing, and 19th-century dance lessons.
