An Enchanted Autumn Escape

2 days / 1 night

DAY 1:

  • Plan a cozy fall weekend with that special someone in your life. Take in the fresh, crisp fall air while you stroll with your sweetie through the Natick Cultural District.  Explore vibrant public art and peruse the quant local shops such as Uni-T, Five Crows, Helen’s Handbags and Paper Fiesta.  Grab some decadent chocolate at Vivilicious Chocolates and discover dazzling baubles and beautiful finds at Brant Jewelers. The district has several fall events and festivals, so be sure to check out their calendar. While you wander, check out the plethora of public art.
  • Enjoy the peaceful setting overlooking 100+ lakefront acres at the Warren Conference Center and Inn. Dine at Henry’s Place, a warm and inviting atmosphere offering weekly specials and a cocktail of the month! Or maybe book a room at The Verve Hotel whose pop art décor makes for a fun walk down memory lane. Eat dinner in their sexy Violet Thorn lounge where the food is sophisticated and the atmosphere encourages quiet conversations in cozy corners.

DAY 2:

  • Savor the fall morning with a hot cup of coffee and indulge in some one-of-a-kind donuts at Rocco’s Doughnut Company such as Coconut Cream Pie or Triple Chocolate.
  • Treat your better half with the gift of deep relaxation and healing at Circles of Joy. Enjoy a soothing Reiki session or immerse yourselves in the therapeutic vibrations of sound healing, designed to restore balance, ease stress, and rejuvenate mind and body.
  • Then, stroll the charming Main Street in Hudson and pop into some of their adorable shops such as Hudson Art and Framing and Serendipity.
  • Explore the new fall menu at Less Than Greater Than, an intimate speakeasy with sensational cocktails. The Tallow-Aged New York Strip Steak and Lobster Ravioli sound intriguing!
  • After dinner, take in a Broadway caliber show at The Umbrella Arts. In October, catch “Tick, Tick…Boom!”, an emotionally charged and musically rich show. This autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning composer of Rent, is the story of a composer and the sacrifices that he made to achieve his big break in theater.
