Cool Plans for Cold Days

DAY 1:

• No school, no problem! There’s plenty to do to keep the kiddos busy on winter break!  Sign them up for a Penguins and Polar Bears Cupcake decorating class at Duck Soup. Decorate 3 to 4 cupcakes with fondant and buttercream and learn how to make penguins and polar bears.

Do snowflakes have 6 points or 8?  Check out their daily schedule and dive into the science of snow, curl up like a hibernating animal or conduct a frigid experiment of your own.
• Stop by BORO Sugar Shack for a sweet treat! Shop their impressive selection of candies including currently trending Dubai Chocolate bars or nostalgic candy such as Necco Wafers!
• Enjoy a magical evening at Night Lights at New England Botanic Gardens at Tower Hill. Revel in the wonder of the winter season with half a million lights! Enter an illuminated world where stars of the botanic garden shine, and where sparkling experiences and one-of-a-kind light displays inspire joy to last all year. It’s a celebration of nature like you’ve never seen before—bright, bold, and full of dazzle.

DAY 3:

• Turn up the excitement at the Natick Mall! Conquer the mental and physical challenges of Level99, enjoy high-energy pickleball at Bosse, and unleash your inner gamer at Immersive Gamebox. Have little littles?  Check out the drop in play at Jam Time.
• Experience the perfect mix of food and fun at Dave & Buster’s with their eat & play special. Savor dishes like the crispy chicken sandwich or fish and chips before exploring the expansive arcade, home to a one-of-a-kind human crane machine.
• Celebrate the season at Winter Wonderland at Southwick’s Zoo and embark on a magical journey through dazzling lights, whimsical handcrafted displays, and festive holiday cheer.
