Guys’ Golf Getaway

DAY 1:

  • Friends coming from out of town? Check out the convenience of the Worcester Regional Airport, a short drive to MetroWest!
  • Book a round of golf at the Marlborough Country Club. Open to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays, this golf course boosts a rich history opening in 1922 and was one of the inaugural hosts of the PGA Senior Tour from 1981 to 1983.
  • Après golf, try Lost Shoe Brewing and Roasting Company. Seasonal brews are out now including Festbier, light and crisp and poured in a glass boot to take home.
  • Finish off your night at Skybokx 109. Offering tantalizing entrees and sports, you can’t go wrong here.
  • Need a place to crash after the adventures of the day? Book a suite at the Residence Inn in Natick!

DAY 2:

  • Head out to your next tee time at the Wayland Country Club. The course is beautifully manicured and is surrounded by one thousand acres of conservation land.  Built in 1920, the Wayland Country Club prides itself on offering private country club conditions on a public course.
  • Tonight, try out the “Chatio” at the Dudley Chateau. MetroWest’s premier gathering place for sports, food and spirits!  Watch the Bruins, Celtics or Red Sox while enjoying one of their famous 10 oz. Angus Steak burgers!

DAY 3:

  • Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before your final tee time. Eli’s Breakfast, Burgers, and Brews offers a range of casual American fare in a cozy, eclectic setting.
  • Grab your clubs and make your way down to Maplegate Country Club in Bellingham. Home to an 18-hole championship course and set on gentle, rolling hills covered with large pine, maple, oak and beech trees.
  • Wind down your guys get away with an amazing meal at GlenPharmer in Franklin. Try the Seared Scallops or Cioppino and pair it with one of their meticulously crafted spirits.  If you have some extra time, take a tour of their distillery where you will learn about cooking, fermenting, distilling to barreling and bottling.GlenPharmer Distillery
