Honor those in the military by spending time at the American Heritage Museum. Their WW11 Tank Demonstration includes the M4 Sherman, M24 Chaffee, M5 Stuart, M36 Jackson Tank Destroyer, and more. Captivating historical narration will bring these amazing machines to life!
Enjoy a great dinner at Oak Barrel Tavern. We hear the burgers and ribs are fantastic! If the weather is nice, eat outside.
After breakfast at the hotel, take a hike (literally!) at one or more of the seven trails in the Marlborough – Sudbury State Forest. The Mount Ward trail to Summit is an urban gem.
After working up an appetite, enjoy New England cuisine in a warm, historic setting radiating with charm at The Wayside Inn.
In the afternoon, wander through the charming shops of downtown Hudson. Be sure to stop in to Mullahy’s, offering not only artisanal cheeses and other specialty foods, but also Goodnow Farms Chocolate, listed on Food & Wine’s Best Chocolate of America!
Looking for something fun and funky to do Saturday evening? Check out MetamOrephosis at atac: downtown arts + music, a rave-style event that is based on Anime Music, 2000s Nostalgia, and Nerd Culture. Featuring live performances with an Idol Showcase. Cosplay is highly encouraged!
DAY 3:
Check out the Sudbury Memorial Day Parade starting at 9:30am at Rugged Bear Plaza.
The historic Hosmer House will be open to the public until 2pm. The Hosmer House was built in 1793 by Asher Goodnow and houses many artifacts of the history of Sudbury.
Before ending your long weekend, grab a bite at Less Than Greater Than, an old Prohibition-era speakeasy disguised as a cobbler shop.
