June is bursting with Pride celebrations, and this year, the calendar is packed with events to honor and uplift the LGBTQ+ community. From Holliston’s vibrant celebration to Bellingham’s PrideFest, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Here’s a  list of all the exciting Pride events happening this month, so you can join the festivities and show your pride.

June 1:Franklin Pride 25Pride Celebration MetroWest Massachusetts

Holliston Pride Celebration from 11am to 3pm in Blair Square. The celebration will include an array of activities and entertainment, featuring live music, engaging speakers, various vendors, and creative crafts. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic, along with blankets or chairs, to fully enjoy the festivities. Dogs are warmly welcomed, especially for the Proud Pup Parade.

Franklin’s First Pride Flag Raising starts at 10am. The first ever Pride Flag raising for the Town of Franklin will take place at the Franklin Municipal Building.

June 2:

From 2:00 to 4:30pm, The City of Framingham will Raise the Pride Progress Flag at the Memorial Building to celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. This rain-or-shine event will feature inspiring speakers and a vibrant community atmosphere. Explore informational tables from local organizations, such as Downtown Framingham Inc., Framingham Public Schools, OUT MetroWest, and more. Plus, check out the Framingham Public Library’s bookmobile.

June 8:

MetroWest Massachusetts Pride Celebration Festival

Hopkinton Freedom Team, together with the Hopkinton Center for the Arts is very proud to be hosting Hopkinton’s 4th Annual Pride Parade & Celebration from 1pm – 4pm. Get ready for some serious family fun with: Bouncy house, Kids crafts, Music, Food Trucks. The short parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. and go around adjacent streets and neighborhoods. There will be a post-Parade celebration at the HCA from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. after the parade.

Sudbury PRIDE day kicks off at the Curtis Middle School for a free, fun, family friendly event to celebrate pride and inclusivity! Live music provided by the HMV band, The Performing Arts Connection’s Glee Club- Encore, and performances by Lincoln Sudbury students! Kids have too much energy? Bring them by for Zumba with CathyAllenZ, the Viking Martial Arts obstacle course, and to play in the sensory bins courtesy of Bloom and Grow Creative! Stop by tables to visit with organizations in the area that welcome and support the LGBTQ+ community. Crafts, snacks, popsicles, LGBTQ+ children’s book sale, and more!

June 15:

Plant the Common begins at 10am on Franklin Town Common. The Franklin LGBTQ Alliance will be placing mini–Pride Flags throughout the Common.

Ashland is United is hosting the 2nd Annual Ashland Rainbow: Celebration of Pride at The Corner Spot on 6 Cherry Street. All are welcome. This is a family friendly event with fashion show. Opening remarks by Rep Jack Lewis. JRI / RISE, OUTMetrowest, and Trans Community of New England will be in attendance. There will also be food and small business vendors

June 22:

Pride Celebration MetroWest Massachusetts

Celebrate with Pride 2024 from 12pm – 4pm at the Franklin Town Common. Come celebrate with amazing musicians, food trucks, a live artist, craft vendors, face painting, tarot reading, and more! And this year’s newest addition: a tie dye station!

June 23:

Annual “Out on the Block” Pride Celebration hosted by OUT MetroWest from 2pm – 5pm at 160 Hollis Street, Framingham. Enjoy tie-dye and lawn games! Free dessert from Kona Ice (while supplies last)! Community partners, and more! Don’t miss a musical performance from Ants on a Log at 3pm, generously sponsored by JCC Greater Boston and Greater Boston PFLAG All ages welcome. Free parking off-site available.

June 29:

Bellingham’s 2nd Annual PrideFest is taking place at the Bellingham Town Common from 10-2pm.  A wonderful day filled with amazing music, tasty food, lots of friends and tons of fun. 100+ vendors, activities and more. Plenty of parking across the street in the plaza.
