Check out the Discovery Museum’s evolving exhibit – Tinytropolis: The Next 250 Years. Come visit the mini city with a big future! Join the museum as they design, build, and explore a city constructed completely out of cardboard and creativity. This changing and evolving temporary space will be put together by staff and visitors over the course of 7 days.
Head to your homebase for the week – Fairfield Inn and Suites Marlborough. Conveniently located to easily travel to all your MetroWest fun, this hotel has it all including the most important element of a spring break getaway: an indoor pool and fitness center.
After checking in, grab some grub at Lalos Mexican Restaurant. Offering all your favorite Mexican favorites, including a delightful selection of fajitas and tacos!
Day 2:
There is so much fun at the Natick Mall that you can spend the entire day! They offer a wide variety of shopping options along with plenty of entertainment venues!
Game On! Try all the new games at Dave & Buster’s. From Top Gun to Godzilla VR to UFC Challenge and more, there’s something for everyone.
Then try Level99, a first-of-its-kind destination featuring real-world, interactive social gaming with over 50 physical and mental challenges set in artistic environments.
Forgot old school pencil and paper scorekeeping (where everyone claims, “not it!”) and enjoy the trackaball technology at Puttshack, where the golf balls track every trick shot, hazard and bonus point. These courses are loaded with interactive challenges that will keep you on the edge of your tee!
Offering a spring break bundle and save, try both the new “Floor Is Lava” and “Squid Game” challenges at Immersive Gamebox.
Have you worked up an appetite? Savor a steak chimichanga at Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant, which is conveniently located right across the street from the mall.
Spend the afternoon relaxing at the Taproom at Lookout Farm. One of the oldest continuously operating farms in the United States, you can enjoy farm-to-table BBQ, comfort food, and pints of farm-crafted beer, wine and cider. Try their new release – Lemonade Stand Hard Cider!
Day 4:
Enjoy a tour of Goodnow Farms. Learn about how they source their beans and see each step of their chocolate-making process, including roasting, grinding, pressing and molding. Tours last approximately ninety minutes and include the factory tour as well as a chance to taste different cacao beans. At the end of the tour, they’ll do a tasting of three different bars inside their 1800’s barn, where you’ll also be able to purchase their full line of chocolate bars and hot cocoa.
Learn about Sudbury at the Sudbury History Center and Museum. Check out the newest exhibit, Sudbury‘s Changing Landscape which will enthrall the visitor with stunning interactive displays that exemplify how Sudbury has come to be the beautiful town that it is today.
Continue your history exploration at the American Heritage Museum, a phenomenal museum of world history that showcases North America’s largest collection of antique planes, tanks and automobiles in immersive, multimedia exhibits.
Enjoy dinner at Oak Barrel Tavern – your go-to spot for a good time and even better food. Their menu features mouthwatering burgers, ribs, and classic comfort foods that are so epic, they should have their own fan club!
Day 5:
Visit the New England Botanical Gardens at Tower Hill and revel in their Spring Awakens: A New England Society of Botanical Artists Illustrated Exhibit. This gorgeous garden has formal flower beds as well as hiking trails in the woods, and the loveliest little cafe!
Or, spend the day at Old Sturbridge Village where children are free during the month of April! Old Sturbridge Village is a recreated 1830s rural New England town that showcases 200+ acres and 40 historical buildings inspired by the stories of early 19th-centry New England Life!
Day 6:
Explore Southwick’s Zoo, the largest zoo in New England, which is home to over 900 animals in naturalistic habitats including lions, tigers, chimpanzees, two-toed sloths, and more. Enjoy live shows, the Soaring Eagle Zipline, and the Skyfari Sky Ride, or feed the giraffes and white rhinos. A fabulous day for all ages!
