Spring Sojourn

3 days / 2 nights

DAY 1:

  • It’s Spring! Get out of hibernation and get outside! Start your weekend at the Beer Hall and Kitchen at Jack’s Abby.  Celebrate Maifest, a traditional German festival to celebrate the beginning of spring and the counterpart to the legendary Oktoberfest. Tons of activities will be going on at Jack’s from May 17-19.
  • After dinner, settle back at the Courtyard by Marriott Boston Natick for some rest and relaxation outside on the patio or in one of their comfortable guest rooms.

DAY 2:

  • After a restful night at the hotel, grab some complimentary continental breakfast and a coffee and head on out to Happy Goats Farm in Holliston for some Zen with a side of adorable at baby goat yoga! While are you are at the farm, grab some made in MetroWest goat milk soap.
  • Once you’ve worked up an appetite, head on over to the newly opened Rail Trail Flatbread Co. in Milford. Try one of their delicious flatbread pizzas or be original and create your own pizza!
  • After you’ve filled your belly with delectable pizza, check out Boston Paintball in Ashland for some high intensity fun!
  • Then, make your way over to Lookout Farm for some live music and brews! Try some of their tasty BBQ as well!

DAY 3:

  • Established in 1890 and one of the oldest operating diners in Massachusetts, stop by Casey’s Diner for a delectable breakfast!
  • Check out Cochituate State Park where you can follow the Snake Brook Trail for a mild 1.5 mile heart healthy walk.
  • Want some more of the outdoors? Head to Garden in the Woods in Framingham to explore the beauty of New England wildflowers and explore the 45 acres that were sculpted by retreating glaciers into eskers and steep-sided valleys. If you are in town in mid-May, you can experience Trillium week!  Check out Twilight Trilliums which provides the opportunity to stroll the Garden after hours.
  • End your weekend with dinner on the “Chatio” — the great outdoor patio at Dudley Chateau which sits right on the shores of Dudley Pond.
